Sending an invite
When an owner or admin sends an invite (via Add teammate), AdLoft:- Confirms a seat is available — a paid seat must be free before another invite can be sent.
- Sends an email to the recipient (subject: “You’re invited to on AdLoft”).
- Lists the invite under Pending invites.
Invitations expire after 7 days and only consume a seat once accepted. Sending a new invite to the same email replaces any earlier un-accepted invite.
Pending invites
Each pending invite shows the recipient’s email, who invited them, the expiry date, the role, and the access scope. From here you can:- Resend — issues a fresh link and resets the timer.
- Revoke — cancels the invite.
Accepting an invite
The recipient clicks the link in their email and is taken to the accept screen, which shows the organization, the role, and the brands they’ll be able to access.- Not signed in — they’re prompted to sign in (if they already have an AdLoft account with that email) or create one. The email is pre-filled.
- Signed in with a different email — they’ll need to switch to the invited email.
- Signed in with the right email — they click Accept invitation to join.
Common issues
| Situation | What it means |
|---|---|
| ”Invitation unavailable” | The invite expired, was revoked, or was already used. Ask an admin to send a new one. |
| ”This invite is for “ | You’re signed in with a different email than the one invited. |
| ”Needs an extra paid seat” | The organization is at its seat limit. The owner must add a paid seat first. |
