A campaign draft is the editable starting point for a launch. AdLoft can create a draft from several sources, so you rarely start from a blank page.

Start a new campaign

From the Campaigns hub, click New campaign (/dashboard/campaigns/new). Choose a brand, then pick how to start:
  • Start blank — an empty campaign in the builder.
  • From winners — when you’ve added winning ads to your draft from Winners Hub.
If you arrive from a template’s Use button, you’ll create the draft from a template instead.

Source modes

AdLoft tracks how each draft started:
SourceHow it starts
BlankStart blank.
Winner seedSeeded from one or more winners in the same brand.
Proven combo seedSeeded from a Proven Winners combination.
Same-org adaptationSeeded from winners in a different brand in the same organization.
TemplateCreated from a saved campaign template.
DuplicateDuplicated from another draft.
Synced campaign cloneCloned from a campaign already synced from Meta.
AI BuilderGenerated by the AI Campaign Builder.
Cross-brand adaptation is only valid within the same organization. You can’t adapt a campaign across organizations.

Seeding from winners

When you click Add to Draft on a creative in Winners Hub or Proven Winners, AdLoft adds that ad as a seed and sends you to the new-campaign launcher. There you’ll see the included winners before you create the draft. What AdLoft builds from seeds:
  • The first seed becomes the control ad, pre-filled with its media, headline, primary text, CTA, and landing URL.
  • Additional seeds become challenger ads.
  • A single seed also gets two empty challenger placeholders so you can test variations.
The draft also captures a benchmark snapshot of the brand’s target ROAS/CPA and recent performance, used on the Review step.
You can only seed from brands you have access to. Seeds from brands you can’t access are rejected.

Defaults applied to a new draft

A new draft pre-fills sensible defaults — a Sales objective, Advantage campaign budget, a starter daily budget, one ad set built around the seed audience (or a “Core audience”), and the brand’s launch defaults for the pixel, page, and destination URLs. You can change all of it in the builder.
