The Workspace → Accounts page (/dashboard/ad-accounts) shows a setup checklist that tracks your progress. Complete all four steps to unlock accurate reporting and campaign launching.
1

Add a brand

A brand is a client or business line in your workspace — for example, “Acme US” or “Client — Nike”. Your first brand is created during onboarding; add more with Add brand. See Brands.
2

Connect Meta

Authorize Meta once for your organization. This doesn’t pull any data until you run a sync. See Connect Meta.
3

Run a full sync

A single sync pulls your Meta ad accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads, and metrics into AdLoft. It runs in the background — you can leave the page. See Data sync.
4

Assign ads & set goals

Link imported Meta ad accounts to a brand and set a target ROAS and target CPA so Winners Hub and reporting know what to optimize for. See Goals.

Why each step matters

Brands organize everything

Brands are the container for ad accounts, goals, and launch defaults. Reporting and campaigns operate per brand.

Meta is the data source

AdLoft’s insights and publishing all run on your synced Meta data.

Sync powers insights

Without synced metrics, Overview and Insights have nothing to show.

Goals power scoring

Target ROAS and CPA turn raw numbers into goal-aware winners and action buckets.
Set launch defaults (Facebook Page, pixel, website URL) on each brand too. They pre-fill AI Launch and new campaign drafts, saving you setup time on every launch.
