AI Launch runs are metered in AI credits. AdLoft quotes the cost up front, charges you, and then reconciles against actual usage when the run finishes.

Quote, charge, settle

1

Quote

As you fill in the setup, AdLoft estimates the cost as a range. A run costs between 25 and 120 credits, with around 50 as a typical figure. The estimate is shown on the Generate step.
2

Balance check

Before starting, your balance must cover the maximum estimate. If it doesn’t, the run is blocked with a message telling you how many credits it needs.
3

Charge

AdLoft charges the expected estimate when the run starts.
4

Settle

When the run finishes, AdLoft recomputes the actual cost from real usage and reconciles — refunding the difference if you were overcharged, or adding a small charge if usage ran higher.

Refunds

  • A run that fails with no output is fully refunded.
  • If the workflow can’t even start, your credits aren’t charged.
  • Cancelling settles the run and refunds the unused portion.
  • Refunds are idempotent, so cancelling or retrying never double-refunds.

Running out of credits

If you don’t have enough credits for a run, you can:
  • Upgrade your plan for a larger monthly credit allocation.
  • Earn bonus credits through referrals (bonus credits never expire).
  • Shorten the lookback window to lower the estimate.
See AI credits for how credits are granted, used, and expire.
